Priorities:

  1. Reading goal for some time, but need to focus on the reading goal.  Reading comprehension and looking at how to improve the area. - Brooke Koliha talked with them about possibly doing this at the same time as the textbook adoption - answer was maybe.
  2. Adoption year for reading curriculum. - Going to do as a district. Looking for K-12 but focus is K-6.  Looking at the end of May to allow collaboration teams to look at priority list for teaching reading at their grade level.  Get input from parents and board members as well.  May 21st or 22nd, August 10th, September 26th, Oct 15th.
  3. Common assessments at the 7-12 level needs some more advice and elementary may be a little farther ahead.  Providing support on how to correctly use formative assessment and feedback. - At the 7-12 level have some guidelines as to what it would look like in the subject areas as elementary is probably a little ahead.  Some of it deals with pacing, how many items, paper or online.  Needing some support to help with this.
  4. Engagement strategies.
  5. Differentiation - from external visit.  When get commons assessments that will help as well as engagement piece.
  6. Technology Integration - named by the external team.  -
  7. Science essential standards.
  8. Essential standards with regards to Danielson. Every teacher will have these things within the domains.
